Registered Agent Services. A Texas business entity is required by law to designate a registered agent for service of process in a record filed with the Secretary of State. A registered agent must have a physical address and be open to the public during normal business hours. A registered agent cannot use a residential address or post office box. My office provides a registered agent services for $75.00 per year in most cases.
